Fall Grant Application Applications due Friday, October 31st
Grant and Scholarship
Applications
Since 1981, the Eden Prairie Foundation has awarded over $850,000 in
grants, scholarships and special gifts to organizations that reach out
to the Eden Prairie community. Grants are awarded in the Spring and the
Fall and Scholarships are awarded in the Spring.
The primary purpose of an Eden Prairie Foundation grant is to encourage
the development and implementation of non-profit or tax-exempt programs
(including city and school district programs) that make Eden Prairie a
better place to live and work. Preference will be given to funding
requests for capital projects vs. general and operating expenses.
Scholarship applicants are graduating seniors, who are residents of Eden
Prairie and/or graduating from Eden Prairie High School and plan some
type of post-secondary education. In light of the Foundation's mission,
the type of student we would encourage to apply for our scholarship is a
student who may be ineligible for other scholarships such as academic or
athletic. High GPA and class rank are not required.
The deadline for this round of applications has passed. Check back in
early March and early November for the links to the applications. |
