Grants

For nearly 30 years, the Eden Prairie Foundation has helped organizations obtain the equipment and materials needed to run their local programs. Past grant recipients include:

• Meals on Wheels of Eden Prairie
• PROP
• ABC (A Better Chance)
• Eden Prairie Family Center
• Eden Prairie Fire and Police Departments
• Eden Prairie Veterans Memorial

The primary purpose of an Eden Prairie Foundation grant is to encourage the development and implementation of non-profit or tax-exempt programs (including city and school district programs) that make Eden Prairie a better place to live and work. Preference is given to funding requests for capital projects vs. general and operating expenses.

The Eden Prairie Foundation has awarded nearly $1 million in grants, scholarships and special gifts to organizations that reach out to the Eden Prairie community. Grants are awarded in the spring and the fall.
